Please read carefully. By submitting a project inquiry, making any payment, or using any tool, application, or service provided by One Button Fix, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, do not proceed.
Section 01
Agreement & Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Agreement") constitute a legally binding contract between you ("Client") and One Button Fix, a sole proprietorship operated by its owner ("Provider"), with its principal place of business accessible at onebuttonfix.com.
This Agreement governs all services, tools, applications, automations, scripts, and digital products provided by One Button Fix, whether delivered as a one-time project or on a recurring subscription basis.
By any of the following actions, you indicate full acceptance of this Agreement:
- Submitting a contact or project inquiry form on this website
- Making any payment — including via Cash App, Stripe, or any other method
- Receiving, downloading, installing, or using any deliverable from One Button Fix
- Subscribing to any recurring service or application plan
Section 02
Scope of Work & Deliverables
All project work is scoped based on the information provided by the Client at the time of inquiry. The Provider will deliver what is agreed upon at the time of payment.
- Flat-Rate Projects: Deliverables are defined prior to payment. Any features, changes, or additions beyond the original agreed scope constitute new work and are subject to a separate quote.
- Revisions: Minor revisions (bug fixes, small adjustments) are included within a reasonable period after delivery. Major changes to functionality, design, or behavior beyond the original specification are billable.
- Timelines: Estimated delivery timelines are provided in good faith. The Provider is not liable for delays caused by Client-side delays, incomplete information, or circumstances outside the Provider's control.
- Approval: Upon delivery, the Client is responsible for testing and approving the deliverable within 7 days. Silence after 7 days constitutes acceptance.
Note: All tools and applications are delivered as-is for the agreed specification. The Provider does not guarantee compatibility with future third-party software updates unless a maintenance agreement is in place.
Section 03
Payment Terms
All prices are in US Dollars (USD). Payment is required before work begins unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing.
- One-Time Projects: Full payment is due upfront for projects under $200. For larger projects, a 50% deposit may be agreed upon, with the remainder due before final delivery.
- Accepted Methods: Cash App ($OneButtonFix), Stripe (card payments), or any other method mutually agreed upon in writing.
- Invoices: If an invoice is issued, payment is due within 5 business days unless otherwise stated.
- Late Payments: Work may be paused or withheld on unpaid invoices. The Provider reserves the right to charge a late fee of 10% per 30 days on outstanding balances.
- Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting the Provider to resolve the issue is a breach of this Agreement and may result in legal action to recover funds and associated fees.
Section 04
Subscriptions & Recurring Billing
Certain tools and applications offered by One Button Fix are available on a recurring subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorize One Button Fix to charge the applicable fee on a recurring schedule (weekly, monthly, or annually as stated at time of purchase).
- Billing Cycle: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
- Price Changes: The Provider reserves the right to adjust subscription pricing with a minimum of 14 days' written notice to the Client prior to the next billing cycle.
- Cancellation by Client: You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting Admin@onebuttonfix.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access through the end of the paid period.
- Cancellation by Provider: One Button Fix reserves the right to cancel or suspend a subscription at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity.
- No Prorated Refunds: Partial-period refunds are not issued on subscription cancellations unless required by applicable law.
- Free Trials: If a free trial is offered, it will be clearly stated. Failure to cancel before the trial ends will result in automatic charge at the standard rate.
⚠️ Important: It is your responsibility to cancel before the next billing date if you no longer wish to be charged. The Provider is not obligated to refund charges that result from failure to cancel in time.
Section 05
Refund Policy
Due to the custom, digital nature of all work performed by One Button Fix, all sales are generally final. The following terms apply:
- Pre-Work Cancellation: If you cancel before any work has begun, a full refund will be issued minus any transaction fees incurred.
- In-Progress Cancellation: If work has commenced, refunds are prorated based on work completed at the time of cancellation, at the Provider's reasonable discretion.
- Completed Deliverables: No refunds are issued once a project has been delivered and accepted (or deemed accepted after the 7-day review window).
- Subscription Charges: Past subscription charges are non-refundable. See Section 4 for cancellation terms.
- Exceptions: If the Provider fails to deliver the agreed-upon work within a reasonable timeframe with no communication, a full refund will be issued.
Disputes: Before requesting any refund or initiating a dispute, please contact
Admin@onebuttonfix.com. The Provider is committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.
Section 06
Liability Limitation
One Button Fix provides all services, tools, scripts, and applications "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- One Button Fix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill.
- The Provider's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or any services rendered shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- One Button Fix is not responsible for damages resulting from misuse, modification, or improper deployment of any delivered tool or application by the Client.
- The Provider is not liable for issues caused by third-party software, APIs, operating system updates, or platform changes that affect the functionality of delivered tools.
- Use of any tool or application provided by One Button Fix is at your own risk. Always maintain your own backups of critical data.
⚠️ Critical: One Button Fix is a sole proprietorship. By engaging services, you acknowledge that you are working with an individual operator and accept the limitations of liability described herein.
Section 07
Data Privacy & Confidentiality
One Button Fix takes confidentiality seriously. The following terms govern how client information and project data are handled:
- Client Data: Information submitted through the contact form (name, email, project description) is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your request and communicating with you. It is never sold or shared with third parties.
- Project Confidentiality: The Provider will not disclose details of your project, specifications, or deliverables to any third party without your written consent, except as required by law.
- NDA Requests: For projects requiring a formal Non-Disclosure Agreement, the Client may request one prior to engagement. Execution of a separate NDA supersedes the confidentiality terms of this section.
- Local-First Tools: Tools built by One Button Fix that run locally on your device do not transmit your data to any server operated by One Button Fix. Your data stays on your device.
- Portfolio Use: The Provider reserves the right to reference the existence of a client engagement (e.g., "built a tool for a data processing client") in portfolio materials, without disclosing identifying information, unless the Client has requested otherwise in writing.
- Data Retention: Contact form submissions are retained for up to 2 years for business record purposes and then deleted.
Section 08
Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment for a one-time project, the Client receives a full, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the delivered tool or application for their intended purpose.
- Ownership: Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, One Button Fix retains ownership of all underlying code, frameworks, and methodologies. The Client owns the right to use the final deliverable.
- Full Transfer: If the Client requires full source code ownership and IP transfer, this must be agreed upon in writing before work begins and may be subject to an additional fee.
- Subscription Tools: Tools accessed under a subscription remain the property of One Button Fix. The Client's license to use them is contingent on maintaining an active subscription.
- Restrictions: The Client may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute any delivered tool or application without prior written consent from One Button Fix.
Section 09
Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or any services provided by One Button Fix, the parties agree to the following process:
- Direct Resolution First: The Client must contact One Button Fix at Admin@onebuttonfix.com and make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue before pursuing any other remedy. A response will be provided within 5 business days.
- Informal Negotiation: If direct contact does not resolve the issue within 14 days, both parties agree to attempt resolution through informal negotiation.
- Binding Arbitration: If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, not in court, except where prohibited by law. Each party bears its own costs.
- Small Claims: Either party may bring a claim in small claims court for disputes within that court's jurisdictional limits.
Section 10
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to its subject matter and supersedes all prior communications, representations, or agreements.
One Button Fix reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
